Ice, You obviously,play the puts/calls game. If I had bought Gateway at 30 I would exit now in a heartbeat to preserve that profit and then play puts and calls for the fall months.
As to sales taxes, if they signed contracts they were dumb. However they can extricate themselves if they wish, take some new corp stuff.
In any event slaes tax equalization will be forced by the net. It will not be a web tax, but an interstate sales tax shared between the states and the feds in some ratio. Ship-to states will like it as they now get nothing. Ship from states, the same. The feds will like it as they now get nothing and retail places will like it as it levels the playing field. The mail order warehouses in nevada will hate it as they sell to California and ship from Nevada and depend on the sales taxes saved to make them cheaper.
