Glenn re: the yen <You are certain Japan cannot control it?> I met with the 'most' influential american on this issue on June 9th. I repeatedly asked him this exact question. Three times he told me an emphatic 'yes', they can control it. I expressed my doubts. You judge for yourself if they can control it. They have intervened nine times since June 10th. They issue ten statements a day saying they won't allow it to happen. They had an 'understanding' that 120 was as low as they would 'permit'. Since June 10th we have gone from 122 to under 112 -- you be the judge.
