All US government gold is under the "control" of the US treasury. 2. A great deal of it is "held" in the great clearing house under the NY Federal Reserve(the faction of the Fed. of which I've been highly suspect). This is the portion the US gold store which could(IMHO), with the most ease, be in play despite all contrary statements from the Treasury. If you want to be of help to GATA, you should write Congress and request an immediate audit of all us gold stores. Then drop an e'mail to GATA and put this idea to Bill. I think "an open gold market" should begin right here at home. I want to know that no faction with-in our government has ever shorted gold, & I want proof this government has never made a loan of our gold. I believe this is where GATA should be pointed with their political pressure. It has been political pressure with which GATA has had the greatest level of success and where they should aim their resources. An old South Western bit of wisdom says, "Figures never lie, but Liars do figure". If we were to take away the chance for this government to lie about gold(The demand for a more open gold market). I believe we might just have a slim chance at a win. After all, have you ever seen a greater group of liars than this administration when backed by the press, bankers, & Wall Street? We have proof we can not believe this government(administration). There needs to be an active inventory & independent audit process put in place.
