What has helped me be patient is damn taxes - everything I make short term this year 50% goes to taxes - If I hold long term I can take a 23% dip in the stock price and still be even...I am trying to get a stable of stocks and rotate when they reach 12 months - looking for stocks for that long I look for blue chips, undervalued, and takeover candidates...I am holding long term CS, COMS, CSCO, MSFT, and an ADR - GNELY (will be adding bigtime to this position over the next 2 months)
