TCI is a separate company from @Home. @Home now is the same company as Excite. The Web is your information/data provider.

(Correct me if I am wrong) I believe the reason why @Home bought out Excite was to use Excite as a portal. If I ever get @Home service, which I might if I ever settle down, I would not use Excite as a portal but Yahoo or Silicon Investor. If AOL cable/DSL service is available, I would definitely choose AOL, not for its content but its broad customer base.
