Well, I don't think it is quite kosher to consider automobiles, space ships, factories, etc., manifestations of Nature. If you do, then of course one cannot argue that Man ever damages the natural environment, because his inventions are a manifestation of his nature, which in turn is a part of Nature, & etc.

That argument lands one eventually in total silliness, IMO.
