Paul re <<Now we have to figure out which one is the correct story.>>

That's what I have been wondering, on Monday HP announces support for Merced and today they recommend waiting for the next version.

Both from legit sources and both make sense. The one on Monday announcing support for Merced is an official company press release, the one today is from a reporter at a conference,

"HP's decision, announced at a conference here, is the first time that an insider and main proponent of the chip has recommending skipping it."

What the **** is the deal?

<Now we have to figure out which one is the correct story>

The August 16th press release makes today's announcement appear even stranger.
