Richard In my QP scan I use the following: ProcessMS="D:\META\60 Day Double Vol\8 10",MsData; In the Metastock options module under "Define automatically updated directories" I have the following: D:\META,100 What does ascii text have to do with it? Metastock tech support told me that metastock does not read QP data directly. He said that I have to convert the data to ascii format in the downloader. I did not try this because I knew I did not have to go through this process. You wrote "I assure you it is operator error not program." I agree with you that is why I am asking for help. Thanks Dennis
