a few simple rules regarding day trading:

stay in front of you puter...you can't go into a trade and then walk away and come back later.

it's only numbers...i don't really care what the company does...i'm not going to be in the stock long enough to make any difference to me...(position trading is a different story)

time the bottoms

time the tops

stick with the high volume large cap stocks (just in case you have to hold overnight)

win lose or draw..you need to be flat at the end of the day

leave the greed at the door

if you have a 1/2 and there is 1 hour left in the market and you think you can squeeze out another 1/4 or 1/2...don't do it...sell the stock and take your 1/2 and never look back

don't let your winners turn into losers

but don't fight the tape either..if the market is up and the stock is moving..let it run

don't buy in the first 20 minutes or the last 30min to 1 hour

most important..if your serious about this and want to do it full time...you need to read several books and get on a REALTICK III system
