<Just because the media publishes a sensationalistic item, does not make their speculation "fact".>

I totally agree with you. I don't know if you're familiar with the International Herald Tribune, but if not, you should check out the actual publication and demographics. It's definitely not a sensational rag publication. Probably the highest education and income level of any newspaper in the world.

Since you work for Cisco, perhaps you could help clarify what the International Herald Tribune said, which is inaccurate.

"Cisco Systems Inc., the world's leading Internet component supplier, lists 25 products on its Web site cisco.com that are not compliant and a further 31 that the company does not plan on testing because it regards them as too old to be serviced. Some of these products were sold as recently as three years ago. Many are still in use."

I'm not baiting you. If you have knowledge that the above statement is inaccurate, please rebut. Remember, all I did was "cut & paste" an article.

At the same time, you should write to the editor of the International Herald Tribune and have them rebut or clarify. As I told Cheeky, all I did was "cut & paste". The International Herald Tribune has a far larger audience than this thread on SI.
