Many people on this thread think I just make things up. I don't.

BTW, I am peppering the thread with "non-boring", rather amazing topics in the hopes that really interesting discussions may ensue during the next day or two.

Or insects. They are the big ones for biodiversity. We are still finding insects we hadn't known about. I read somewhere that the mass of all termites in the world is greater than the mass of all humans. Given how small a termite is, that would mean a LOT of termites around!
