John, what's your take on this article? I thought the markets and currency were up, and the economic forecast bullish.

All things considered, I'd say the odds look pretty good for some major infrastructure spending. Telecommunications has been defined as a strategic priority by the Chinese Government. Perhaps a little fibre would be good for their economic diet.

With the risk of sounding like the eternal optomist, a left wing government is most likely to spend on infrastructure when the economy is bad to keep everyone working.

There must be a lurker here that can attend the AGM? It would be good to get a first hand account on whether the future for TOM looks bright or if the Asian problems will continue to hold it back.

I'd also like to get an update on the market acceptance of FiberSmart.

I'm also curious to know if the JV is dead. If it isn't, it could "pop" the stock.
