Susan: Your post was important. James Cramer at the street.com occasionally says the same about pre-market futures and how little it means, other than the opening. The only exception that I've noticed; when the futures are up/down 20 or more. This IS meaningful. Another consideration is "fair-value"; it can absolutely negate the futures...or it can exacerbate the futures. (Lee)
