You did put them on an equal footing. I couldn't answer for what a man would think about keeping the race going by being raped. I wouldn't (don't think I would) choose to keep it going by raping a man. The race would end there. I don't think that WWII is a good comparison. Perhaps we can get along, but you worded your question in terms of "is rape appropriate to keep the race going". At least that is how I read it. Regardless of who does it, it ain't for me. That's all. Maybe that would be the sacrifice. To let humans die out rather than continue if that is what it takes.
