Correction: After additional research, I have determined that the numbers I posted from InsiderTrader were erroneous. According to SNDK's 3/99 Form 14A, total shares beneficially owned by managers and directors was only 2.1M. Adding SEG's 6.1M brings the total to less than 31%!

If you add true insiders, SEG, and the three funds which own >5% it totals 14.5M shares ... a bit more than half of SNDK's total shares. The rest is spread out among non-reporting institutions (<5%) and retail investors.

SNDK's form 14A filings consistently double-count SEG's holdings by listing them separately and then including them in the total for managers and directors. Despite that fact, I still can't figure how InsiderTrader came up with their numbers.

The link is too long to post but anyone desiring the exact figures can find them on page 27 of SNDK's 3/99 DEF 14A filing at freeedgar.com
