I doubt "smart money" would dump $100 million worth of IBM within about 5 minutes -- surely "smart money" would do a better job of distribution. Nonetheless, that's what seems to have happened (the dumping part, not the smart part). Seems likely to have been either a serious case of lemmings over the cliff, or perhaps an arbitrage; either way, it may be resolved by the a.m.

The only negative IBM news I saw was that relating to Sequent, and surely that's small potatoes (and doesn't extend to SUNW).

Again, JMHO.
