Japan, i think the high savings rates will allow japanese to invest directly in market and use on-line brokers

Japan, is traditionally slow to change, but the ease of opening off-shore accounts and using web based services will be key factor

US in Euroland is a 60's notion, imho
corporations are not national and will take anyones money at any expense, despite their base, most anyway :)
