ike, their logic goes against my 'pre-programming' :) deficit up, dollars go out, i think domestically, less labour needed, who pays for consumption? just my simplistic view if anyone can help me on this one, it would be appreciated thank you ynot ;)

Hi Ike: Hope all is well. I've been on the sidelines for the past few weeks but some of the semi's and software stocks are quite attractive. We have option expiration tomorrow (with summer Fridays normally quieter, volumn wise). I placed some orders this AM (but not the amat calls you suggested, just shares) below the ask expecting some retracement. I'm not sure if were out of the woods yet but there are some attractive positions out there. I'll post some recomendations (all small caps of course <g>) later. Have a good day. Tim
