Let's not confuse intelligence with common sense. Starr lacks common sense. Plus, to put all that lurid detail in a report about a President of the United States shows a lack of respect for the institution of the Presidency (yes, Clinton also lacks such respect). Every lawyer I know believes an effective and complete report could have been written without that cigar-detail.

Dano,

<<Education: bachelor's degree, George Washington University, 1968; masters degree, Brown University, 1969; law degree, Duke Law School, 1973>>

Being educated and being bright are two different things. I know plenty of people who are highly educated and can't think their way out of a paper bag. Conversely, I had a friend, when I was growing up, who was not educated, but was one of the smartest people I have ever met.

<<most folks would call 17 convictions not exactly sinking.>>

When he tried to leave for Pepperdine(I think that was the school) He didn't have 17 convictions. He was trying to leave the people who hired him in a lurch because he thought he had greener pastures elsewhere.

<<let's see, holding one in a luxury hotel against her will>> It is not the surroundings that create the atmosphere of intimidation, it is what you are being threatened with.....

<<This was the biggest set up in history, IMO>>

I don't think Starrr's own buddy would turn on him to appease the Dems.

Mark

I didn't hear Jackie Mason's comments, but I am sure they are good. He is a very funny guy.
