I went long NVLS in mid afternoon today.

It seems to be approaching the lower end of a trend channel on the daily chart. Without the warning from AMAT, I don't think we'd be down here.

On the AMAT thread, someone pointed out that August is a time of seasonal slowdown for semi-equipment manufacturers. It has been that way for a number of years.

Last year, semiconductors in general showed marked signs of improvement in orders by October and that was with the slump in Asia close to its' worst. This year, Asia seems to be on the rise.
