Rande, ATHM had a high of 42 yesterday and today at 38 15/16 almost wish i had sold yest at 42 and bought back today lower. Stillholding What is your opinion? Darline

Rande ""I love playing the stocks I don't mind holding. . .makes it harder to lose."" How right you are...The only way to play and be safe.( as much as you can be) I see that some of our SAMs are moving a little.... Ok I need an opinion here...it's driving me nuts....WCAP...Stock does some wonderful moves but earning came out the other day and they were shit. I watch this stock everyday and keeping saying to my self that I it should go down,,,but is just moves up....It was down to a low of 9-10 a few days ago and I wanted to buy but froze..... Now it hit 0ver 21 yesterday...I just can't get a feel for this stock..Maybe I should just close my eyes and hit the button.. Help..... Banchee Banchee

Rande: I have a couple of ports that I have on my watch... including settop/bb and oil/gold.... in the recent past when nets were down both of these presented the most green... today, only the oil/gold is green.. while this "rotation" may be coincidence, I don't think so, looks to me that as people get any sense of fear regarding a "big drop" that they run (stampede??) to oil/gold This may only reflect the thinking in this thread since talk of gold, in particular, does not seem to be high on threads...might be best to keep an eye on this fluctuation Kevin

Rande, Today's events seem awfully suspicious to me. First, Datek's NYSE and AMEX quotes don't work. Then DLJ's access suddenly becomes unavailable. Most issues are in a tumble from yesterday's rally. Does this sound just a little too familiar? Just thinking out loud. It would not be the first time we've witnessed mass scale manipulation. Are others experiencing similar inability to trade / get quotes? Something smells fishy. Best, KT
