Those were two separate posts....Anyway, to say that even nature can be subject to strain is true, but my interest was in whether we regard it as fragile or resilient under more ordinary circumstances. As I said in my last post to Steven, I was thinking on a much smaller scale, as when construction of a mall is held up indefinitely over a wetlands dispute involving a mosquito infested puddle that even proponents admit is only a "wetland" for a few weeks a year.....
