Dai Tn says, "Just my one cent thought." It's an EXCELLENT thought!! I have met Gerry on a few occasions, and he is brilliant in this field. So, you can offer Gerry a penny for his thoughts, and come away with a WEALTH of information.

Excellent idea Dai. I will try to sort out my thoughts this weekend and put it on the thread. Just to make this clear, I'm not a technological wiz either. I'm a sales guy, with w more than average interest in technology (and a scientific degree I do admit).

Here's some food for thought separate from our other discussion (just to stir up some things).
ATM cards are typically protected with pins. How safe is this? Cards can be copied (especially the generally used magnetic stripe ones) and pins can often be easily found out. What's the alternative? IMO, best way to do this is with something that is unique to the person owning the ATM card: biometrics. In other words put your voice, finger, face, iris, or whatever other or combination of these on your card and they can be happily stolen or copied without anybody being able to use them. Still you have to protect the transaction, this is were P.E.R.F.E.C.T. comes into play.
Another confession: I work for a company focusing on biometrics applications (which might also explain why I know a little about the security market).

May this day finally be a good one for ECNC (I must honestly admit, that I'm so much negative on ECNC now, that I would personally prefer them to hover a bit in this area so I can pick up a truck load more when I can free up some more cash next month ;-)).

Mario.
