No. I'm talking about the fact that BryanB posted on Beta two weeks ago about setting up a Classic SI task force. Since then the designees have been PMing each other the same thing - "no, nothing here either". It's obvious at this point that we were diverted and abandoned long enough to stop irritating the Go2Borg as they continue to assimilate the proud culture that was once SI. We were lied to. Again.

mel,

About a week ago I somehow got "trapped in BetaLand" and didn't have the link to return to S.I. Classic. I didn't find my way back "here" for a a day or so (I have to admit that I didn't try to hard though). In any case, within that day, I totally lost interest in reading my favourite threads. The highly touted "next 10 posts" feature just seemed to encourage me to go into my "skimming mode" of holding down the scroll button while speed-reading through the "text" without much regard for who-wrote-what....

Ah well, I know that some will blame the preference for S.I. Classic on a passion for nostalgia or "antiquity". In my own case, I doubt that very much... I enjoy change, new things, interesting software that I've never tried before, etc... but I don't see anything too "superior" about the new S.I.

Croc has spoken...;-}>
