14 3/4. :( I'm going to put in a sell at 16 and go to work.

*Edit*

I'm going to hold for a couple of days, this bad boy is looking strong on a down day.

Funny how it goes. I was fully expecting to make a WINK or a NTRO play today. But I noticed LAB trading early in the morning, so I went with it intending to sell and buy into one of the others later.

But a funny thing happened once I found myself a LAB owner. I began asking myself: Can a stock of this stature, reputation and relationship to the market continue trading as only a $15 stock? I concluded: No way!

Most likely I'll still sell some of what I bought, but I'm going to keep a sizeable portion in this one, staking a long position. I've a feeling LAB will fly not on this day but in a day soon afterwards.

CNBC's Bob Tsnai's comment that LAB could be a prelude to NYSE going public is worthy of consideration, since no other specialists trade in the public market. I almost can imagine 'good 'ole boys' hangin' in Wall Street's Bull and Bear pubs, quipping to each other: "I got my LAB. You get yours yet?"

Today's IPOs? So far none of 'em seem to fan the flames to greater heights. Given this, my inintended LAB position might not be so bad after all. Come what may!
