DS: As usual, you've contributed well to our understanding of NTAP. That was a GRRREAT! summary of the CC.

And you bet we need to look at BRCD. That one has become very pricey very quickly.

Another ? on my mind is how quickly will Dell learn to sell NAS? I'll pose such a question on the Dell thread and see if some of the regulars over there can't give me a clue, and I'll pay you back with whatever I learn. Deal?

DS - Thanks so much for the CC summary!

You are quite a help to us folks.

One question - What is DSO - "DSO = 61 days, up from 57 days due to increased overseas sales."

Compliments on a fine post, DS. I love the ntap story; a tornado market, outstanding market share, Intel-like margins, strong management, a highly motivated (through options) workforce, an emerging value chain... almost the complete package. If I could convince myself that they have patents creating significant barriers to entry, I think I'd be yelling GORILLA LEAVING THE BOWLING ALLEY!.

Are there any tech-heads on the thread that can shed some light on ntap's ipr?

Frank
