Look again Mark, at the headline:

And the first paragraph.

""Gov. George W. Bush, dogged by criticism for refusing to say whether he has used illegal drugs, answered part of the question Wednesday and said he had not done so in the last seven years.""

that is not what he said at all. That would be the same as you telling a banker on a credit application that you have not declared bankruptcy in the last seven years,(by answering NO to the question) and the banker going out and telling his bosses that he is not making the loan because you did declare bankruptcy over seven years ago. (After all you never said you did not do it 8 or 9 or 10 years ago......)
