Doug, I don't see anything inherently incongruous in those two statements. You may be comparing Rarebird's extensive preparations vs. his claim to be moderate. Or perhaps it's the professed love of life vs. not wanting to live in a post-apocalyptic world. Or perhaps it's something I'm not seeing. In any event, I can easily reconcile the two statements.

I would hate to see people discouraged from sharing their philosophies of life and their feelings out of fear of having them picked apart. I, for one, am interested in what is in others' minds and hearts. (Their information and conclusions, on the other hand, are IMO fair game.)

Karen

I'm not going to think for you Doug or help you resolve your Webster Dictionary Contradictions, if that is your Standard of Truth. I think your going to get burnt big time on your Long Bubble positions moving forward. Time will tell. The stock market will tell us who is right. I think the name of the game in the stock market is to take your nice profits and move to the sidelines when great Risk becomes apparent. Yes, in 30 years, the S@P and Nasdaq will probably be higher.
