MST responds to that question (from yahoo thread):
Psamm: You ask: "Does this private placement imply that Ashton is in financial difficulty and needs cash to continue operations? Any thoughts appreciated. "

No - it means exactly the opposite. First, ATG now has over $30 Million in cash with no debt. Second, this money is not for "operations" - it is to accelerate the development of two critical components of their future money making ability - eMC and NextExchange. This is like the equity placement in mid-1998 except that the equity is being placed at or above market, rather than at very low, venture capital-like numbers.

Think about it - Rose Glen has put in $20 Million at more or less $10 per share with warrants exercisable in the future in the low 12's. What does that say about where THEY see the price going?? How many people do you know invest $20 Million in a "start-up" without doing 5 times as much diligence as we have done? This type of institutional commitment in private placement stock is HUGE!!!!!

By the way, ATG has little or no revenue . . . until about the end of next week. From then on, it is a different world for ATG and its stockholders.

Hat's off to Fred and Art Bacci for pulling this one off. Talk about putting the lie to Auric's main tenet - that this is a BS pump and dump that is going to fold as soon as the top insiders sell out. Get ready for the shorts to get soiled.
