Tito: Re: "Many Bulls are turning Cows deserting AMATLand in search for Greener Pastures... but is it necessary for them to do so?"

If the cycle were dead, would investors be putting PRIA through the roof? No. But because AMAT said 300mm was being pulled investors went there instead for now.

If the cycle were dead, would investors be bidding up ASML and giving CYMI relative strength today? No. But because AMAT said shrinks were the rage in the drive for .18um, investors are going there today.

If the cycle were dead, would investors be bidding WFR up? No. But because the weak dollar favors WFR, investors are going there today.

The important thing to realize here is that the big boys are not abandoning these stocks. AMAT was just one of the last to be abandoned and that the way it is in a correction. The leaders get hit last.
