QuesTec's TennisProView-TM- Takes Home Court Advantage at Hamlet Cup

DEER PARK, N.Y.--(BW SportsWire)--Aug. 19, 1999--Long Island-based QuesTec Imaging, Inc. (NASD-BB: QSTI) announces the use of TennisProView(TM) by FOX Sports Net for their national coverage of the semi-final and final matches of this year's Hamlet Cup, Commack, New York, August 28 and 29.

QuesTec will once again work with FOX Sports Net to produce on-air serve analysis and virtual replays during this year's tournament.

TennisProView is a real-time video and computer-based tracking and scoring system that creates virtual replays for television and a behind-the-scenes analysis tool for commentators. TennisProView will be available for all pre-match, match and post-match coverage of center court action. This year's Hamlet Cup television audience will be treated to a unique perspective of different types of serves, match serve patterns, Aces and close line calls.

The Hamlet Cup, owned by the Holiday Organization and presented by Computer Associates, is Long Island's premier sporting event. An ATP Tour World Series Event, the 1999 Hamlet Cup will showcase some of the top ATP Tour players in the world. The top seed Australian Patrick Rafter, will be on hand to defend his '98 Hamlet Cup title.

This event is QuesTec's tenth televised production featuring TennisProView and the sixth Tennis production produced with FOX. Since its debut at the 1998 ATP World Championship, Hannover, Germany, TennisProView has been featured during the Sybase Open, Kroger/St. Jude, Franklin Templeton, Lipton Championship, Family Circle Cup, French Open, Gerry Weber Open and the Mercedes Cup from Stuttgart, Germany.
