I have no factual basis for my "lousy service" comment. I was just trying to guess at what Ebbers is feeling and what motivated him to attack Lucent. IMO, we can't understand why WCOM is trashing Lucent without understanding the fact that WorldCom came into a relationship with Lucent involuntarily. Up until the Ascend-Lucent merger, MCI and WorldCom had little if any business with Lucent. They bought equipment from Nortel, DSC, and Ascend. Lucent was the enemy or at least related to the enemy. Whatever anger Ebbers has toward Lucent is being magnified by this history.

Doughboy.
