darrell....more ignorance based on misunderstanding..always willing to share thoughts...never branded you or steven an idiot...you guys took up the banner.... what is wrong with you?...you ask...i honestly answer... portfolio is dell,intc,msft,emc,added recently cmgi athm(for option trading purposes)portfolio up ytd98% as of this morning, profits mainly from option writing...which i consider my ability above the norm... dell put bought...not me, must have me confused, maybe your ego blinds your ability to read and comprehend...never bought a put in my life! short 80 x dell 0160 puts at 26 on 2/17...yesterday at 18.5 short 35 x dell 0155 puts at 22.5 on 4/21... yesterday at 15.125 good profit...hope you realize short a put is bullish the underlying stock....this morning msft sept 85 puts were a good sale..400/contract for an oversold stock...follow it's progress, see how i make out on the 20 contracts...sold 50dell dlq-th puts at 3/4 on 8/17...dell above 40 tomorrow..expire worthless....is this the act of a bear???? been long dell since 96......still hold 20k shares...but i have written jan55 calls on my position...can't lose taking a profit.. if you want to make money, better to learn the mechanics and how the market is changing, and never get enamored or emotionally involved with any issue...read up a few posts about dell day trading...as long as heavy day trading, it will remain a range trade... the change in "perception" has to do with the future of dell beyond just a box maker....if it didn't why didn't 90m+ volume blow thru 45???? qcom up 11+ plus the other day on less then 5m......compare the two..."perception" of qcom is that it will grow up into it's 250x pe....dell will grow down to a pc maker norm pc....not saying it is correct...but isn't obvious what the market "perceives"....open your eyes up to reality...rave about dell up 19% this year...only performing a bit better then the averages....i don't mind...it's the dell heads who get all bent out of shape....
