TMIC also had news this afternoon

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., and CUPERTINO, Calif., Aug. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Netrex Secure Solutions announced today it has certified Trend Micro's (Nasdaq: TMIC - news) InterScan® VirusWall(TM) security suite for the company's ePatrol Enterprise Security Management. Through this partnership, organizations that outsource enterprise-wide security and virus protection through Netrex can be assured their networks are being protected by best-of-breed technology from Trend Micro.

ePatrol Virus Protection, which is integrated into Netrex's entire suite of ePatrol managed security services, provides comprehensive protection from viruses originating from the Internet, including email attachments, file transfers and corporate Web surfing. Since Netrex's certified security experts administer these critical security systems and update the virus databases around the clock, customers will not have to worry about maintaining their anti-virus servers. Netrex also provides real-time virus logging and summary reports through Culprit, a proprietary Web-based security management system. Through Culprit, clients can access meaningful virus reports anytime that can determine the type of virus, locate where the viruses originated, and trace where it is being sent.

''As a leading provider of managed security services, Netrex is a logical partner for incorporating our virus protection technology,'' said Eva Chen, CTO for Trend Micro. ''The vulnerability to virus attacks continues to increase throughout IT networks and our alliance can provide a value-added benefit across the enterprise.''

InterScan VirusWall was the first of its kind to block viruses at the Internet gateway, protecting groupware and intranet servers, LAN servers, and desktops. InterScan VirusWall established the gateway protection category and, despite imitators, is still the leader in this category today. The scanning technology that powers InterScan has now been extended to include 'spam' blocking, e-mail content filtering, and mail traffic management.

''The rise of viruses being transmitted into corporate networks is increasing every day, and the ability for Netrex to extend Trend Micro's solution in our ePatrol offering provides the assurance that viruses can be detected and stopped,'' said Mark Sims, president and CEO of Netrex Secure Solutions. ''The recent examples of networks being crippled by viruses sent via email emphasizes the seriousness corporations need to take in integrating a virus protection system with their security management strategy.''

ePatrol Enterprise Security Management is an integrated framework of around-the-clock managed security services. ePatrol combines the infrastructure of the Netrex Command and Control Center with the latest releases of industry-leading enterprise security solutions from Check Point Software, Entrust Technologies, Internet Security Systems, Security Dynamics Technologies, SurfWatch Software, and Trend Micro.

<<Subscribers>> Check also the earnings calendar for some more additions. Especially #3 from August 25 (its also #3 on today's watch list today but I did not indicate that it is reporting earnings) , and #4 from same date. The other two that are reporting next week and showing anticipation are listed as such on the watch list. Unfortunately, #4 for the 25th of August showed enormous anticipation yesterday with a chart similar to ITN's. I hope there is some left.
