I have immediate support (today) at 2170 which will probably be 2-5 points higher based on today's data. As for the discrepancy, I just look at the chart I built and highlight the last bar (yesterday) which typically gives me slightly more conservative numbers (not averaging the current day). Also I experiment with different optimization adjustments so I may be averaging the average daily price (as opposed to the highs, lows, or closes). That would also account for the discrepancy. I am using a simple moving average (as opposed to EMA or WMA). From a technical standpoint, the 10DMA is probably a narrowly watched average. Had we broken the 50 or 200, that would have been a MAJOR event. I think your support number confirms mine (or viceversa). Thanks for the note. BTW, what is "PnF eyes"?? I'm rather new to SI.
