Your entire post was completely irrelevant to my point.

A woman's "right to choose" is currently considered unassailable in this country. It was fabricated from her "right to privacy" and the notion that what was growing inside of her body was strictly her business and NO ONE has any legal claim on any basis WHATSOEVER. It has nothing to do with "an even playing field" vis a vis child support. The point here is that the CHILD has no right to life and it is the woman and only the woman who can decide the fate of the fetus. I'm saying if you are going to accept that premise then you must also accept that she should be wholly responsible for the support of the child if she chooses to give birth against the wishes of the father. The childs existence comes down to the wishes or desires of the female and the male has been stripped of any legal standing as to the birth of his child except of course if the woman chooses to have the baby THEN suddenly our both she & our government become very concerned about the fathers "participation".

Total double standard in favor of the woman when it comes to support of the child. NO RIGHTS for the child or the father if the woman chooses to abort. So please cut the victimization routine regarding the pregnant woman. From the moment she agrees to sex until the time she either aborts or gives birth. Legally, she holds all the cards, no question about it.

<<There is a loose, poorly enforced child support program where kids get $50/month or something - >>

In Illinois the first child gets 25% of the fathers income tax free.
