Down,

I'm not selling, it's just such a bouncing ball that sometimes you can jump in and out. But I am tired timing things, it makes me tired. It has been good to me, though I am trying on a new hat, which is, buy and hold....

Regards and thanks for your solid NTAP views!

>> FranQ, perhaps we should take this Gorilla/King discussion over to "your" thread. We don't want to scare folks here with this kinda talk, do we!

Au contraire, DS; the comments I've seen from your threadmates seem to indicate they enjoyed our "argument".

Sorry to duck out on you, but I took off for the 49er-Seahawk game at Candlestick Park (I can't get used to calling it 3Com Park). Great game - big 4th quarter rally - and we won!

Our conversation helped me come to some tentative conclusions on ntap and emc. I think you're right; the san and nas markets may well unify under one banner in the future, but at present, the players in this sector seem to be residing in the Bowling Alley. And it's not clear yet <at least to me> if this will become a Gorilla game or a Royalty game.

Since you are clearly an expert on this technology, I'll look forward to continued input from you about the battle to become the Sector Ruler. I'm currently long ntap and have no position in emc.
