Good Morning Sonny, The markets will begin trading in 40 minutes and the S+P futures are up a bit this morning. You know yesterday's horror story can change on a dime and it just amazes me how topics are created in an instant to either cheer or cast gloom. Most of the overseas markets are doing well today and there is some weakening of the Yen. This should firm up the bond market and then spill over into a plus for equities. It will be most interesting to see how shares of Dell will fare if the Nasdaq has a strong day?? I see that you are going to be traveling out to Seattle in a few days. Hope the weather and all goes well for you. Th weather here in Philadelphia is very nice this morning and we are going to get some needed rain over the next few days. Good afternoon Sonny, I marvel how you can go away and still keep conected to the thread. I have had a horrible time refiguring my laptop so I can get on the internet in my shop. I upgraded to win98 on my DELL but not my laptop. Quel mess! My customers don,t look kindly on being on internet when you should be waiting on them gg. now I wont be able to update my laptop at home unless I go through all this. Stocks are doing ok. I was asleep at the switch on Solectron I missed buying it lower. Might still. I go on Quicken to research them I am not selling one more stock no matter who says what. I think techs are just beginning to surface. IMHO. have a good trip

Hi Sonny, Thanks a lot for telling me that ADIC is split adjusted, just when I wasn't feeling to stupid for selling it at a loss. <GGG> Ahhh, live and learn. VBG!! Love to see INTC moving like it is!!! I just hope it stays up this time. I could use a few more shares, and I like those yearly splits. <gg> I remember you shouting about the trade deficit and the dollar. These days though it seems that even if you are right, unless it's the opinion of 'everyone' it gets shoved under the rug. But I thought, the dollar is actually getting stronger against a few currencies. Maybe I didn't read that right though. These summer doldrums are getting a bit old aren't they. I'm just not ready for winter though. <gg> I think everyone is just wondering when this bull market is going to end and so any little bit of bad news gets blown way out of proportion. Well I'd better run too, someone is in my chat chair and they seem to want my attention. Well ok it's only for break but I do need one!!
