Mqurice: Steve's highlighting on the NXTL and NEXTWAVE story drives home the way that the FCC has now adopted the approach that power for them is "power for the people". What a perversion.

Assume that what we are seeing here is not a naked power grab by the "regulators" as it appears, but action to protect the people against the big and powerful. But if so, curious that the FCC seems to be on the side of the big and powerful.

No question I must be seeing this wrong. The FCC couldn't be just trying to advance its own narrow interests against the public interest.

No way could these "regulators" be doing anything but protecting us for the long run against the dangers of the free market. Of course.

But why then the silence from the FCC. Isn't FCC case compelling enough for the public to understand and support? Hmmmmmm? Chaz
