John Kiester, president of GNET, used to be on my College's basketball team (Occidental College, Go Tigers!). I read an interview with him and two other founders of GNET (Caldwell and someone else) in our Alumni magazine, and it seemed like they were all basketball fanatics and that the naming of the company was a deliberate play on words to pay homage to their other passion. So who knows what grand marketing plans they already have up their sleeves related to basketball. So, sorry levy, but I don't think you can copyright something that the founders already used to name their company :-).
