I thought the outstanding shares might be relevant because with too many outstanding shares and an unexpected mkt downturn, management can wind up with a stock with an undesirably low price. I was thinking this might be a concern as to whether to split the stock...

I own both companies right now but had a high entry on jnpr (160) strangely, I got a partial fill on a stop today, never had that happen before so its a question of buying back in or who knows what.
