WJ,

Does Wind get per-unit royalties or a one-time license fee or what when it sells Tornado to these companies ? That is, does it make any difference to WIND whether PMCS sells one unit or one million units ?

"Incorporated into PMCS, MMCN,and Broadcom products, 3 of the fastest growing leading edge communications chip makers today."

Thanks,
AF

The following latest EE Times article on Wind is a must read:

eet.com

You can be certain that tomorrow's CC will mainly focus on the things discussed in this article - i.e. on the future. Note that according to the article Wind is expecting to grow revenues from the current 150MM to 1 billion within 4 to 5 years. This is the first time I have come across any indication by the company on longer-term growth plans. This growth rate is equivalent to 50% to 60% per year - perhaps higher than most of the long-term faithfuls in this Board have been hoping for. Can they meet this target? I would think that the market and technology is developing so fast in this area that you would have to view this with some skepticism.
