That's assuming this is news to most of the Street.The SEMI
organization sells reports containing this data and more for
big bucks. I would hope paying customers get the data we
have sooner.

But I doubt it will be all that bad. I think the bad news may have already been discounted with AMAT's announcement. The report is confirmation of AMAT's guidance. The so-called sequential decline in bookings could well be revised upwards as has been the trend and really, in any event, the trend is at worst flat for anyone with a brain cell to spare to see through the numbers. One cannot have the looming capacity constraints, huge PC growth (plus other chip growth), increasing capex budgets and firming DRAM prices and conclude the trend is down unless one is short. I expect the AMAT lows to firmly hold and I expect the price movement surprise will be to the upside short term. Remember all those folks who bought 70 and 75 calls on AMAT and got burned?
