China devaluation - A new worry on the horizon :-)
Doubt it will happen till early next year. However
looks like the markets are soon going to be spooked
by it...

Gst, yes I know. I hope this is a sign that the Japanese are finally going to clean their sheets.
I have a home right here on the La Costa golf course. A Japanese group bought it for over $250 mil about 8 years ago. Right now, I'm told its only worth $100 mil. The point is, there's some Japanese bank holding this bad loan.
In our system, this loan would have already been called or a cash infusion demanded.

Your absolutely right. We measure assets - liabilities. The Japanese haven't been reporting their bad loans as current liabilities.
