Come on. You can't use benchmarks using overclocked CPU's as a fair comparison. Less Than 5% (probably 1%) of the PC population overclocks or is capable of overclocking even if they wanted to.
I use a 350 MHz PII with 100MHz FSB using Intel BX chipset with some korean "noname" motherboard. It is the worst investment I ever made. I saved $100 on the PC purchase. The system can't run for more than a couple hours before it totally locks up and needs to be re-booted.
This isn't even an overclocked system and I am totally frustrated. If it was overclocked it probably wouldn't last an hour. The average user is running something off the shelf.
Overclocking introduces a number of other variables that make the comparison rediculous.

PS: I'll upgrade to a Dell system with Rambus next month and end this agony.
