Thanx John; <OT> It was more than I wanted to write but he covered it fairly good, HE failed to mention Adam Weishaupt, the main organized was a de-defrock Jesuit, if you understand how the Jesuit "order" was in those days you can see how the following came to be. Members of the secret Order pledged blind obedience to their superiors and only knew about the organization what their immediate superiors would tell them. Their oath read in part: "I bind myself to perpetual silence and unshaken loyalty and submission to the Order, in the persons of my Superiors; here making a faithful and complete surrender of my private judgment, my own will, and every narrow-minded employment of my power and influence." Members were required to spy on one another and submit reports and autobiographies which could compromise them should they decide to leave the Order. ----------------- The main point I differ with is his alluding it to Communism, that is far fetched if you start looking at all the "royalty" and exclusiveness of membership to only the high browed business men and bankers of the time. Not a bunch to embrace any form of Communism, just the opposite they hated Communism with a passion, so I tend to think he is putting a spin on it. ( maybe accidental ) My take on the order is it was / is aimed more as a hegemonical type fascist movement. I'm convinced it's still alive and still has it's connections with the major international bankers. The History Channel just did a release on some really dirty stuff that 8 of our big banks as well as the Bank of England and the Swiss Banks were into during WWII, every one who tried to expose them was villainized as a communist no matter if they were or not. ---------------------- While they recruited Free Masons and twisted the concepts to fit an elite inner circle, I also think they went beyond that. George Washington was a free mason, and a good one too, in fact in the early days of America, Free Masons shaped much of our constitution and I feel with out them this country could not have got off the ground, but would have fell on it's face and wound up like most other 3rd world nations. Even Gorge Washington was alarmed about the Illuminati Order. I can't find the quote but he did warn about them. Jim
