Right on Bugssy, you got in at the right time for both technologies. A word to the wise ; comparing proton exchange membrane fuel cells to ceramic planar solid oxide fuel cells is not like apples and oranges. It's more like comparing oranges to kumquats. Global Thermoelectric's S.O.F.C. being the latter which is half the size, twice as sweet and thrice as juicy.

I expect the auto manufacturers so sell their interests in P.E.M. fuel cells to companies like Black and Decker next century. A lawnmower expels 8 times the pollutants than updated autos, so an external reformer spewing out a smaller amount of pollutants during the "purification process" would be welcome. The precious metals would be affordable on a life cycle basis for the average handyperson puttzing around the backyard. More cities are coming on line with recycling so the precious metals won't get lost in the garbage (hopefully).

Global Thermoelectric's products on the other hand are already reliable workhorses with 25 years of field usage. They are the world's premiere manufacturer of solid oxide fuel cells this century as well as continuing into the next millennium !
