IOM - hmmm, I remember when that one was the rage...the more I pay attention to the market, the more I see the phases of a 'flame out'

typically after a multitude of articles, hype, explosive share price, multiple splits as it becomes deployed...then 'flame out' as reality sets in...(ie IRID)

I do believe many of the inuts are now approaching 'flame out'

There will always be exceptions, there will be leaders...the key is to look for technical monopoly...ala MSFT, INTC, etc...

Re: Iomega. Bottomfishing this one will take major cajones. I'll pass on this one. Last time I bought a stock on impending takeover prospects was earlier this year when I loaded up on Lycos and managed to buy it near its peak (lucky me!) prior to the Barry Diller/USA Network fiasco. Those readers who do scoop this one up when it takes a dive and are later proven to have made a wise investment will have truly earned their profit.
