Klinvestor,

the last several weeks i have sold most of my COHU, both intentionally and via stop losses. got stopped out today in the morning. rotten timing considering the after market stock split announcement!

but i am somewhat glad i am locking in profits. i believe new orders will flatten out the next few months, can't see another 60% jump in new orders. look what happened to AMAT, great earnings and margins, but just the thought of slowing growth got its butt kicked lately.

i know COHU is worth $50 easily but the street doesnt. i can see COHU beat 3rd Q estimates by a mile but their backlog growth might start slowing. that slowing will get our butt kicked too (or at best, a trading range in stock price).

i still hold a small position left. it seems like most of the upside potential is gone in the semi sector.

good luck

Off Topic: what do you think of shorting MU if it tops 80+, seems overvalued.

Klinvestor,

i went the www.semi.org, but couldnt find the breakdown for the most recent b2b for front vs back end. where did you find it?

also can you use the b2b to extrapolate what quarterly new orders would be? for example, with back end b2b for jul, aug, sep, can you calculate what the new orders amount would be?
