LT, good observation about consolidation not helping Iomega
financially.
I've seen a parallel ZIP at Micro Center for $50 retail.
Some OEMs probably pay less for the internals. Of course
the profit is supposed to be in the disks. I wonder if
ZIP really replaced the floppy, would anyone make money?

Floppy drives are under $20 retail and diskettes are often
free after rebate.

Meanwhile people pay a buck for a small bottle of water.

Gottfried ;)
